Verb + -ing or to
Message de grabuge posté le 28-02-2005 à 11:01:10 (S | E | F | I)

Hello,
Une petite révision sur les verbes suivis d'un autre verbe en -ing ou d'un infinitif. Attention, certains peuvent être suivis de l'un ou de l'autre avec le même sens ou un sens différent. Saurez-vous éviter les pièges ???

1. They denied (steal) the money
2. I can't afford (go) out tonight
3. If the company continues (lose) money, the factory may be closed.
4. He could remember (drive) along the road just before the accident, but he couldn't remember the accident itself.
5. After discussing the economy, the president then went on (talk) about foreign policy
6. It has started (rain)
7. Please remember (lock) the door when you go out.
8. I was very tired. I tried (keep) my eyes open, but it couldn't.
9. This jacket is dirty. It needs (clean)
10. Please leave me alone. I'm trying (concentrate)

Bonne chance. Oh, extraordinaire, il neige à Marseille !!!
